You don't say how old your iPhone is or a hint of the problem. However, for a $600 iPhone, I would drive to Orlando the the Apple Store and let them look at it. In the past, I have had them completely replace a defective iPhone (out of warranty) with a new iPhone for $150. You be hard pressed to get your phone fixed for less than $150 anyway...
