In honor of the birth of HRH The Prince of Cambridge and in order to show the support of the Colonials to our "royal couple", the Office of the Mayor has decided to initiate a "Name the Royal Baby Contest".
Sir John of Gilchrist has generously offered to put up $10 prize award to the winner.
I originally tried to get Sir John to have NAPIT fund an all expense paid trip to London and an entry ticket for the baby's christening but he deferred since he and the Fair Lady are now officially retired from the company and no longer have control of the financial purse strings!
The contest is simple. I have started a spreadsheet with my entry and those of Sir John & Lady Wendy. Anyone else who desires to enter need only send me a PM with their suggestion which will be entered into the contest. The winner will be judged by Depudie Mayor BS and determined by who comes closest to the name chosen by the Duke & Duchess of Cambridge when that time arrives!
Sir John will (hopefully) be forthcoming with the $10 when he and the Fair Lady return to their manor on Amherst Way in September.
