Mr. NEWCOMER, if experiencing this bird is on your bucket list, I suggest you walk around "our block" any morning just prior to sunup. We live in the San Antonio Villas, just off Morse Blvd. in the Village of De La Vista. We have 80 villas in our neighborhood, and if you walk around the block any morning just prior to sunup, you will be dive bombed by a pair of these crazy birds. The first time I heard one it scared the **** our of me. The sound they make is hard to describe - the best description I've heard is it's an electronic buzz. I originally thought they were bats. I have a neighbor who is visually challenged, and he is afraid to walk around the neighborhood for fear of these birds. I walk my dog every morning, and we are used to them now.
