Agree with not needing the tachometer. I don't even know what it measures. For several years my dad had a car that had a broken gas gauge. My niece also had a car with a broken gas gauge. Could not live with a non-working gas gauge. The clock went out on my 2002 Subaru Forester about 7 years ago so I bought a cheap clock at an auto parts store and keep that clock at the steering console. Several years ago the Subaru dealership near my house wanted $200 to repair the clock. $200 buys a lot of cat food!
