Very likely what it is.......the reused water.

In our town, if there was a pervasive odor, we would call our Town Clerk or call someone in the Water Department......doesn't TV have a higher up that they can call???? Everyone up here knows who works in the Town Hall and in the Water Department. Obviously, we do not have underground lawn sprinklers.......but just saying.......if there was a smell and it was perceived to be the water.......then we'd call. Or else, call the appropriate town office.

Who do you folks call when there is a problem????? Just wondering.

A short time ago, we discovered that the Blue Rhino plant which exploded wasn't that far from The Villages. Maybe there is other industry around the perimeter????? What other factories might there be???? Maybe they are emitting this foul odor.

Like up here...........if someone ran over a skunk or a skunk passed through someone's back yard..........the stench would last and last and be very annoying..........so I can understand why people are asking questions about this sulphur odor. Is it coming from the water treatment plant itself???? Maybe they have a problem. It is a nauseating smell.....no one likes to smell sulphur in the air.

Good luck with clearing it up........or at least getting answers.

Anyone raised in a city can remember the chemical smells every now and then (when we were kids) but it's something you get used to.

However, a pervasive odor in the air doesn't bode well for someone in TV trying to sell their home right now.........most people like to breathe fresh clean air.
