How many of you who added pools are very satisfied with your decision?
After just reading the long list of opinions with regard to the unfriendliness at a certain neighborhood pool, I noticed the thread was closed.....
However, even though we never used any of the neighborhood pools when we visited for the five weeks.......we did totally enjoy the swimming pool which was under the birdcage off the lanai of our home rental. Lovely, with a waterfall......and heated.
We decided then and there, and still feel 100% sure that we will either add a new pool or else buy a home that already has a pool in good condition.
It would solve all the problems of the "high school or middle school clique"
mentality that seems to be out there.......sad to say.
Having been pool owners in the home where we raised our family, we found it very convenient to have the inground pool right off the back sliders and deck...........who needs to drive away when you have it in the privacy of your own home.
The Villages homes are ideal for pools with the sliders off the master bedroom as well as off the living room or great room areas............
perfect for guests, visiting grandchildren and ourselves.........privacy.
Nice to eat out there .....near the pool......read out there.....and what a nice view when you walk into those homes and "look past the interior" out to the lanai and pool.........just refreshing to look at the water in your own back yard....."under a bird cage" which to us is a great plus for keeping out the leaves and bugs.
Who needs to revert back in time to the high school popularity contest?
Why go to pools where there is a clique? Or anywhere else for that matter? Very childish to be rude to the original poster.
