Different strikes for different folks!
The pool homes look lovely! And I am sure that most owners do really enjoy them.
We had an in ground pool when we were raising our family in Florida. While in Utah for the past 10 yrs we have had a hot tub/spa. And enjoyed both over the years.
But we have absolutely NO interest in a pool in TV. There are dozens of pools here that are conveniently located. And we don't have to clean them or pay an extra line item in our budget to maintain them. To us that's a great perk!!
If there were few pools, crowded and distant, we might feel differently. But we are thrilled to have access to so many lovely pools with out the work involved. If you find people unfriendly at one pool, choose a different pool or a different time to go.
We visited 3 pools during out LSV and found people friendly and welcoming. At least there are lots of locations to choose from.
That is one of the things that impressed us the most during our visit!!
