At that time I was told the developer was in talks with the property owner on the other side where this wall has now been erected but nothing ever came of it. If non residents want to use
the multi-model paths then the counties should take them over like they do our roads and everyone pays for them out of their taxes. I have used the
dirt trail to go to Lowe's and my doctor but I will now use the car.

If the issue was a non-resident using the path then a proper gate system should have been installed to only let Village Residents have access. However this punishes the Village resident living in the historic section. I believe there was more village traffic then non-village traffic using this entrance. Remember there is less incentive for a Stoncrest or Spruce Creek resident to come all the way over to the Villages as they have direct access to Walmart, Aldis, Cracker barrel, Lowes, and the doctors offices. What else would they need on a daily basis.
