Many of us were given "build-out dates" by our sales reps and told that our houses would greatly appreciate in value "after the build-out." Many of those build-out dates have come and gone, and the developer continues to acquire more land. I believe that is why some feel this is a bad thing.

I personally don't care, as this will not be our problem now that we are frogs. Of course, when I didn't put a single tub in our condo in MI 16 years ago, and the builder mentioned resale, I said the same thing: this will be our kids' problem!
