GOLF CART CROSSING
Today, 7/2/2013, Senator Hays’ office informed me that the requested LSV conversion to a golf cart status has been approved and became effective 7/1/2013.
When the County completes FDOT’s requirements for the golf cart crossing at the main gate they can proceed to make it legal. This will open up legal access to most locations currently requiring the legality of an LSV. Owners of LSV’s may wish to convert them to golf cart status in order to be relieved of the registration fee and high insurance premium required. Information on this may be obtained at the DMV in Spruce Creek Terrace shopping center.
