There is a Segway Club in the Villages open to all Villagers
regardless of whether they own or rent a Segway for Club outings. The rental Segways are provided by the Mt. Dora dealer. The club meets on the third Wednesday of every month at the Hibiscus Rec. Center.
In Oct. at Seabreeze, the club is holding a public event to raise money to purchase Segways for injured veterans. Tickets to ride the Segways and go for a short tour will be available at the box office.
Some Segway Owners in the Villages have also started a club. We ride once a week on Thursday usually within the confines of The Villages. It is a luncheon ride and all Segway owners are invited to join us.
