Go to any large city....you will encounter women in burqa's (sp). Been to the Midwest?? Mosques as well..I've seen them! That Somalians are prolifically represented in the Twin Cities...and I'm told in other locales as well. Then there's Deerborn, MI---I've heard Sharia law has inched in there as well.
Have a friend who rents here yearly from Halifax---says there's a prolification of Muslims there as well. P.C.???? One just needs to look around in the larger communities.
Oh, I must share here that one day last winter encountered a young woman standing in line at the Lake Sumter theater wearing traditional Muslim clothing, not the burqa...but the long apparel with the head-covering. A relative of someone here? A wife of a professional??? NOT sure...but it was different for sure in this retirement community!
