I did the same thing, but thankfully they took my last load of hazardous recycling and then told me to go away!
However, some few weeks ago there was a small, very small, article in our local newspaper The Sun, about recycling. I will quote:
9:00am to 3:00pm DECEMBER 7 - The Villages Sumter County Service Center front parking lot, 7375 Powell Road, Wildwood.
Household Batteries, electronics and computer, chemical and paints and the list goes on and on. It is a real hazard waste collection. I'm assuming this is in the area of the new Library near Colony?
Maybe one of us could remember to post this on this site at the end of November as a reminder.
