Fruitland Park City Commissioners have a meeting scheduled Sept. 12 to discuss this matter. I don't think they would continue these discussions if the county had a moratorium on development. However, you make a good point in saying "I know money can change anything". Another 4,000 senior residences in Fruitland Park (almost double their current population) would add a great deal to their tax base.
