The developer has a contract (I'm guessing it's something like an Option to Buy) on about 600+ acres within the boundaries of Fruitland Park. The Fruitland Park commissioners have been meeting about this.
And in addition to this, the developer already owns about 300+ acres immediately south of this, in unincorporated Lake County. This can be seen on the Lake County GIS website.
So if they already purchased the property directly governed by Lake County, they must have already "kissed and made up" with Lake County.

I went to the Lake County GIS map. How can I determine which 300+ acres are owned by the developer?
