We are Florida residents (here more than 6 mos) so I feel like we are different than the Snowbirds (Jan-March or April) and also different than the Flakes (here off and on whenever). But, we do leave from mid-May thru mid-Sept. This year didn't come back in summer at all (dreading cutting back all my plants), but might come back for a couple of weeks next summer, who knows?
Back to the OP - our favorite times are November (usually - one year it was humid and thunderstormy part of the time) and April.
