I am here to take a poll! :-)

Which do you have and would you buy it again?

We worry that the Sleep Number will have an irritating line between the two sides. I noticed that once in a store when checking them out. That was a few yrs ago. Is it a problem if you cross over the center line or sleep in the middle of the bed??

We worry that the Tempurpedic would sleep hot. We have heard others comment on that and for us that would be a deal breaker. I understand there is a "cool" version. Anyone know about that one?

Also the Tempurpedic seems to sink in at the edge easily, when sitting on the edge to put on your shoes etc. Does the edge hold up for you?

thanks for the info! As always!
Good question!! We bought a Serta "Genius" memory foam about 2 years ago from Mattress Firm in The Villages. (By the way, great store and service) The Genius is an "extra firm" mattress, that is needed in our household. It was fantastic in the beginning, but now starting to sag in the spots we sleep. Years ago you could turn over the mattress, but not today. Also would get warm in area of position you sleep in. I've been wondering about the sleep number, and they way it operates. I almost bought the Temper-pedic, but thought the "Genius" had that extra firmness to it. Will be watching to see what people think.
