I purchased a home I knew was the right size for us and in an area of The Villages I liked and still like. My focus now is making my home marketable for my kids so that they can sell it or move into it, whatever they choose.
Our neighborhood has changed little and the neighbors are friendly caring and not overly intrusive. We selected well by moving to this cul de sac.

with everything you have written above. Must admit, we knew exactly what we wanted and that was a home on a championship golf course, and after that we did not worry about the house because we knew we could change it to suit us.
Our second criteria was a home that the children could sell quickly when they carried us out feet first, and that we do have.
We are fortunate (he and I) that we are very compatible and basically want what the other wants which really helps in decision making. Life is good!
