So I have some mushrooms that keep popping up in my pot of rosemary and lemon thyme. I either pull them out (with a plastic bag around my hand to catch as many spores as possible) or they die out; however, my concern is whether or not the herbs are absorbing any toxins that might have been in the shrooms through their root system. Any thoughts??? The rosemary (prostrate) is really establishing itself and cascading nicely as I had hoped - the lemon thyme seems to be suffering (mushroom toxins)??? It would be easy enough to throw them out, but I actually brought both these herbs back with me from last visit to NC because I could not find them here.
