I agree it was a very sad book. we read it in our bookclub as well. It makes us all realize how quickly our lives can change and how important is is ( if possible) to know our family histories.There are many diseases like Huntingtons disease that can be so tragic for those who carry the gene.
But Gracie I am happy to report we read some fun and happy books as well..
