We're only bringing our personal items, clothing, books, quilting fabrics (I couldn't part with them!), and other sentimental decorative items. We've already cleaned out a lot of stuff so, I think we're good in that department. Anything else I should know before getting there?

You could consider renting a mailbox at one of the two Village Pack & Ship locations - then sign up for weekly premium mail forwarding at your local post office.
