oh I know who he is, just not a fan of the actor  Do you know why he was named Endeavour? He was named after Capt Cooks ship, HMS Endeavour. His mother was a Quaker and all Quaker names have to be 'virtuous'
When I see John Thaw, the original Morse, I see his as the character Chief Inspector Regan from a '70's tv show, Sweeney. The best cop show ever shown on British television!!
