My old favorite at 10 Pell St. changed hands and names. There's still a restaurant there but I really didn't care for it with the new owners.
These places are all near the typical Chinatown shops. Actually pretty much all of Chinatown is near these shops.

If you're not used to Chinatown be prepared for massive crowds. That's just the way it is there.
Oh, and PS: been there, done the crowds, love it. Especially when the word gets round that the authorities are about to come through, and everything mysteriously shuts down. My dil and I take small wads of cash and leave the purses at home. It'll probably drive my husband nuts, but oh well.

We just haven't ever eaten there. Thanks again for the suggestions.
