Preists marry, and divorce is frowned upon however and you must go thru an annulment process very similar to the Catholic church to remarry and the Episcopal Bishop much approve. The mass is almost the same and divorced people may receive Communion. Confession is not one to one behind a closed door with the priest unless you request it.. I grew up a Roman Catholic but have I attended the Episcopal church and find it welcoming. I agree it is interesting to visit differant churches because I don't think as most of us do it does not matter where you go...
I spent my first 36 years of my life as a Catholic and joined the Episcopal Church 17 years ago for a variety of reasons. If I were to move to The Villages tomorrow I would probably join Hope Lutheran as I have attended there a few times while visiting TV, and I really like it there. The Episcopal Church in The Villages is a little more traditional than what I am used to here in suburban Chicago. I have also attended St. Timothy's in The Village a couple of times, and I want to check out St. Vincent de Paul in Wildwood once their new church is finished.

How is the Monday bingo at St. Timothy's? I love playing bingo. Ironically most of the Catholic churches in northwest suburban Chicago don't offer bingo on a regular basis.
