Other than that, the Assisted Living has no role with your Long Term Care. Believe me, they take your money no matter what source you get it from, all of them. I am a licensed Assisted Living Administrator, retired at the moment, so I have no preferences of one over another that I would state. I am just telling you all Assisted Livings want you and your monthly payments, happily. And The Villages and surrounding areas (Lady Lake and Oxford) have more than ever to choose from!!! New and older. Nothing under $3,000 and closer to mid $3500 up to $4,000 to start. Second person, such as a spouse, is usually an additional $500-$1000 a month. None of what I have stated includes care which is assessed on each person.
