That was just a joke. If you saw the movie, the house in the "Money Pit" was a huge old old old monstrosity which they got at a good price. Too good to be true price. When all the contractors descended on the place, it literally began to fall apart. From top to bottom. Movie was hilarious.
Our home is modern by comparison and very updated.........just wanted to put it on "fresh" for any potential buyers.......been watching too many of those HGTV shows......that's for sure.
After reading Kate Rogers post about how HOT it is in The Villages, I'm now hoping it either sells fast in May...........or does not sell until October.
I do remember the brutal heat in Florida............but the majority of TV'rs keep saying it isn't hot. Maybe it's just hot to those from New Hampshire and Vermont???? We have also had nights in the 30's and 40's and days in the 70's but tomorrow, one more day of 90 and high humidity is predicted then back to the cool crisp weather.
