I'm not sure what your post means to convey, as it concerns our 9/20 party, but, I think you should know that these get togethers are a way for singles in the Villages to socialize in small groups, simply to get to know each other and not, in any way, a dating event.
I am very sorry for your loss. I think you will find that most all of the residents of the Villages are very friendly and welcoming to new people, whether married or single. If you are visiting on September 20th you are more than welcome to join us.
