Yup... I'm right there with you. I move in November! I have thought and felt everything you are going through. But, as my daughter keeps tellng me... I am not doing anything that can't be undone if I end up hating it there -- which I doubt! You can always sell your villa, but if you don't at least try it, you will never know!
