I have advised my 19 year old and 22 year old nieces to think about where they get tattoos should they decide to get one (or more than one). There is still bias in more conservative career paths to those who have tattoos that are easily seen (lower arms, neck, etc.).

My daughter got a very small flower tattoo near her ankle when she was in college. As soon as she hit the work force she regretted it. 900.00 later it is ALMOST removed. The green ink is stubborn. Very expensive for removal. Good advice for your nieces.
