I do see many kids crossing to get to the library.

I don't under the two replys about kids going to the library. The entire quote wa about school zones on Route 466. Are you saying kids are crossing Route 466 and if so, which library ??
I still like the idea of the deputies getting out of their cars, without the radar and standing in the actual roadway, This accomplishes everything, traffic control for any kids crossing the highway, it will also definately slow traffic and the best part is that no one get a ticket and finally the deputies get a little much needed exercise. This is how it is done near the Daily Sun facility and it

works exceedingly well.
