If she is a resident or gets a resident guest pass, tell her to sign up for Executive golf Ladies' Day on Wed. mornings - several locations, pick the one nearest. She'll be assigned randomly to a foursome (no one can sign up together), and either the 7:45, 9:15 or if warranted by the sign up count, 10:45 - you cannot choose which one. Only thing you can choose is the course.
You meet lots of nice golfers, usually living nearby (because if you get a 7:45 tee time, you want to be close). If she likes someone, can arrange to golf again later that week perhaps.
If she is just your guest, with a regular guest pass, tell her not to be afraid to go by herself - easy to get tee times for one, or just show up and put your name in to fill in for no-shows, or call the courses that a.m. for an opening, or check the night before. I do this all the time, because sometimes I just feel like golfing at the last minute. I have only rarely not enjoyed it, and even if you don't particular like whomever you're paired up with, then concentrate on the golf.
Lots of people (probably more often men than women) sign up alone or show up for an open tee time. She could end up with another single golfer. Lots of times it's a couple and a single friend golfing.
