The fact they let me out onto deck with camera does not bode well for their life expectancy, unless they can tell the difference between a camera and a rifle.
Deer In Norton, MA Yard
|
I was wondering how "our deer family" got to Norton Massachusetts?????
Even though it is impossible, each autumn and winter we seem to see the very same deer family in our Vermont back yard. Obviously, this past twenty years, it's been newer and newer generations of deer........but they seem to follow the same exact routine and "path"......the adult deer shows the younger ones where the apple trees and pear trees are.......they even dig under the snow in the winter.........
Where our home is now, used to be apple orchards......we'd walk our Irish Setters up this way when our kids were little........there are still professional apple orchards about a mile or two away........the Jamaican pickers are up to get in the apple crop.
Again, the deer are wonderful to view. GREAT PHOTOS........
Autumn in New England is a beautiful time of the year...........
