I did advertise on Craigslist not too long age. Within an hour I had two responses who would send me a certified check with some additional money to give to the person who would be picking up the item. I was told to cash the check and give his pick-up agent a hundred dollars and I was to keep the rest. Do you see where this was going ??? Of course thirty days after cashing the check, I would be notified by the bank that it was not good. I would be required to reimburse the bank who cashed the check and also the item I was selling. I spotted this scan immediately and had a little fun with him before telling him I was onto his game and not everyone in the world is stupid.
