Exactly Gracie. As usual you said it so much better then I.
There comes a time in life when sons and grand daughters need to look at what they can do to return the years they were taken care of. Unless there is some specific reasons, illness, disability, or other real hardship, then looking for a job for your mother to help support you doesn't sit to well with me. Especially if she is doing it so the son can buy frivolous things. And if she wants to work with people, let her do volunteer work that she might enjoy.
