T Mobile Cell service is awful at best. We live in the village of Caroline and couldn't rely on it at all inside our house or even outside. But almost everyplace we went in The Villages it was awful. I had to get rid of it and switch to AT&T which is significantly better I get 4G service most places. T Mobile would tell us the towers were just too far away for good service. Coverage maps would list our area as satisfactory but smoke signals would work better.
BTW I have a Samsung Galaxy S2 smartphone. If you don't want a 2 yr commitment get a AT&T sim card from Walmart Straight talk and put it into your phone (assuming it uses the same frequencies as AT&T) It cost $45/mt with unlimited everything and no commitment - worked great for me.
