There is a General Federation of Women's Clubs here in The Villages.
The club meets monthly on the first Wednesday of every month at Mulberry Recreation Center at 9am for social, meeting begins at 9:30am and the speaker/program is at 10am. Additional meeting business is conducted after the speaker. Any Villager is invited to attend the meeting or just for the speaker.

Some of our past speakers have been: Elderhostel; Habitat for Humanity International; Marion County Sheriff; RSVP; Author Diane Abbott who's subject was half of the recent History channel program "Full Metal Corset: Women in the Civil War"; Hospice; The Haven; Hands of Mercy Everywhere (HOME); Roz Fox - artist, and many others.
We have made blankets for children with cancer; placed books in the laundromat for children; donated items for Operation Shoebox, Hacienda Girls Ranch, HOME, items for art projects at school, etc.
We operate from our dues and Brag Fund - it costs $1 to brag on something and we love to do it.
