You can also custom design it; they will ship it to you.....

HP ENVY TouchSmart 15t-j100 Quad Edition Notebook PC (ENERGY STAR) | HP® Official Store-

This is what I have. Except this is 8.1 the improved Windows "8". It's windows 8.1. I have Windows 7. I'm getting the 8.1 for my husband.

I love it. It's the best computer I've ever had. TouchSmart is great for typing. It's considered a NOTEBOOK. It's super fast for multi tasking and great for my genealogy.......and every and any task you want to use it for.

But, you can see how big It is. BIG ENOUGH.

You can either order it for yourself online from HP.......or print this out and call the HP number and talk to them.........tell them this name and model and what you would use it for.

Believe me, "sales associates" in stores that carry computers, such as STAPLES or others, do not necessarily know that much about computers.

Every computer my husband has ever bought from Staples or other "computer stores" in our town, have given him nothing but aggravation.

Every 7 years or so, I just call HP on the telephone and tell them what I'll be using the new computer for........and they've never steered me wrong.

We also have the I-Pad, the mini I-Pad, the I-Phone and Kindle Fires plus the original Kindle.

I like to keep the HP NOTEBOOK AS MENTIONED ABOVE on my desk next to the HP Photosmart wireless printer.........both are Wi Fi

Years ago, this might have been called a laptop computer, but now they call it a notebook.

It takes up much less space than my old "towers/hard drives", big thin screen monitors and separate keyboard....not to mention laser printer.

That all took up a lot of space...........the new "notebook" is wonderful to type on........has a fairly big and bright screen plus a backlit keyboard.

Just a great computer. I wanted to stay with Windows 7.
However, now Windows 8.1 is new and improved with swiping and typing.

BEST OF LUCK with whatever you purchase.

All of these computers are self explanatory when you get them home.
No more instruction manuals. If you can read and search around, you can figure them out without help.
I'm not sure if I would like a 15" screen. It doesn't seem like it would be big enough. I just don't know yet. But I have written down your suggestion and hopefully I will see one somewhere.
