I have known almost a dozen people with dementia in my life and no one hurt anyone. It is possible, but would his family allow him to drive?

If he was 63, then his mother cannot be 68. Also, what burglary took place? I know the charge was said to include burglary, but what was stolen? I don't think the facts were presented correctly or very well in the paper. rewrite!
