Sorry for duplicating some of Tal's information ... We were both posting at the same time.

There are three Village owned dog parks. One is located in the "historical" part of TV, east of CR 441. One is located in the north/west quadrant. The third is located south of CR 466 beside the Bonita Fire Hall. The Village owned dog parks tend to be small, but they're free and golf cart accessible.

We prefer to use a private dog park called Doggie Doo Run Run. If you become a member, the cost is $25 per month for one dog and $30 per month for two dogs. Or you can pay by the visit, I think it is $3 (Tal, please correct me if the prices have increased). They clean up after your dog, you just put a small flag in the ground to mark the spot!

Doggie Doo Run Run is a spacious, wonderful dog park. It's on ten acres with separate parks for dogs under 30 lbs and large dogs. Your dog must have a rabies certificate and be neutered. There's also another fenced exercise area at the back where all sizes of dogs and their humans can exercise. There are two hanging swings where you can read or chill out. There are seating areas in both the small and large dog parks where you can sit, chat to like-minded people and make new friends.

Even though it's not part of The Villages, we go there daily when we're in TV. Our dogs totally love it there, and we do too! It's a stone's throw away from TV on CR 101 north of CR 466 ... North of Southern Trace Plaza.

Please PM me if you have any questions!

P.S. I see you'll be living south of CR 466. Bonita would be the closest dog park for you, but it's smallish and on a hill.
