My college background is a unique blend of the study of the History and Philosophy of Science (two BAs) mixed with a Minor in Religious Studies. I am very much of the mind that we have very severe limits to the extent of our knowledge in many areas and certainly the after life is one of the most profound. James does report on shadows from that realm which do not stretch the bounds of reason to the breaking point.
