Perhaps a good "suspicion" on Doug's part, but not what happened in 1964. They went bowling and then stopped to have a steak dinner at the Ponderosa Restaurant. Scout's honor. Ouija board was right on target.
Even if the Ponderosa was a topless bar, which it was not, Ouija still would be correct. Doug has the wrong generation.

There were no topless bars in N.J. back then and these two 19 year old good Catholic boys would not have been allowed in a bar in 1964.

We never drank either, as the drinking age was 21. We dated from age 17 till we married at 20. Still couldn't legally drink. Times were different back then.
