Today I was driving the car using the visitor gate. Fortunately the golf cart driver knew better and waited.

Good point. In fact, somewhere in the literature TV says that cars have the right of way at all times and for safety reasons should not stop and waive a cart through.
At the St. James entrance a bit ago, the car in front of me decided to waive a cart through, and the cart behind that cart decided to tailgate his way through after him and almost got hit. Not even any eye contact from him. Arrogant.
