Also, Gracie you felt it would be nice "if there were a 1000 less golf carts" during the winter months when it is busy. Really!! Did you know there are only 1900 homes in Stonecrest? That would mean you think that Stonecrest creates golf cart traffic of 1000 carts!!
Now that sounds very silly to me. That's about 50% of the carts in Stonecrest.
Way too much hypocrisy for me. Stonecrest people don't create any problems that should be worried about.

Where one lives is a their own personal choice.
I feel protective and concerned with the traffic in The Villages because that is where we chose to live.
Today as I was driving the golf cart I noticed that the population has begun to increase signaling the start of the busy season. At many crossings, golf carts were lined up.
We have puh-lenty golf carts belonging to Villagers at this time of year. We don't need any more. This is the time of year when people are more frequently in accidents and heavier traffic doesn't help.
We are building here at an astonishing rate and many people have chosen to live here in The Villages.
I ask that all people who drive golf carts and cars be very, very careful.
We all want to be here next year at this time. Happily in Stonecrest, and happily in The Villages.
