Au contraire, I like to see the occasional spelling mistake, as they provide levity in what can be otherwise mundane days.

Ads where the poster is selling a "thread mill" or a "6 mega-pistol" digital camera always elicit a smile.

I always wonder if those that can't spell, really care about their shortcomings
and I am sure they make up for it in other areas. Perhaps, they are all erudite in math or chemistry, areas where some of us are far less adept. Maybe they think we, who are less adroit in math, as being nothing short of dunces!

To some, my grammar and punctuation may not be quite up to standard. But, to me it doesn't bother me in the least.
