We had a neighbor years ago, whose young daughter was diagnosed as dyslexic in elementary school after years of struggling with reading and spelling. She was aided by a very patient teacher, one on one.
This young girl had a "heart of gold" and would hang Mayday Baskets on the doorknobs of all the elderly people in her neighborhood and do other kind deeds for everyone........she ended up attending college very successfully.
I believe I was told that she saw the words "upside down".......
