I'm finally in The Villages! I arrived on Wednesday and have been slowly unpacking and running errands. I said slowly because the day before I left to travel down, I stubbed my toe in the middle of the night and broke it!
I guess I was still half asleep because I didn't realize it was broken until morning! This is really putting a damper of my desire to be playing golf, pickleball, and going for my 2+ mile walks. I sure hope it heals quickly! So far, it is feeling a little better every day.
It still has not hit me that I will be here for at least the next six months. I hope I don't have a meltdown when I realize that I am not at my villa for one of my short vacations. I am sure I will adapt just fine, but you never know. I hope I will be able to meet many of you who post frequently.
Time to do a bit more unpacking.
