Wow, all of these posts are a wakeup call.

Our cousin in New Jersey has had chronic sciatica and various other back ailments for a long long time. He has tried everything from various surgeries to pain meds to acupuncture to the inversion table.......just about everything there is, he's tried it. He still has back pain. He even had something cauterized.

His daughter had worked for a chiropractor and suggested the table.
I'm glad he didn't stick with it.....after reading all of the above.

He also has osteoarthritis of the knees (wear and tear from his occupation) so it's been a vicious cycle. When one is in pain, they will try anything.

He also did the physical therapist routine and nothing helped him at all.

The summer time heat and swimming in his backyard pool does provide some relief. He really should move to Florida.
