He was kinda stating that hurting someone he loved made him feel protective. I am sure she did what she felt was right. I had one too. It was awful. I see the same vein of character here, the taunting, the cruel posts, the ANONYMOUS ability to hurt people's hearts.
It isn't nice. It isn't right and we all can name the top five.

It's very sad that both you and your DH had that experience. It makes you wonder if they wake up in the morning determined to make everyone as miserable as they are.
I told my D-I-L you can't reason with a dysfunctional person!
She is much, much happier this week being out of there.
