UPS, FedEx, etc deliver right to your door; if you're not home and no signature is required they generally leave the item on your front entryway (assuming it's covered). Things mailed using USPS get delivered to the postal station where they have oversized bins for packages. The mail carrier will put the key to the bin in your box then you retrieve your package. If the package is too large for the oversized bin the carrier may try to contact you (if he/she has your phone number) or simply take it back to the PO for you to pickup. It all works pretty well. If you don't have your mailbox key yet...don't send anything via USPS.

Pest Control....Massey comes out quarterly; other companies may do it differently. There's a company named once a year pest control....not sure if that indicates how often they treat.
