No hassle waiting in the lines returning or picking up equipment to activate service, just call Century Link a few days before you need service.
No charge for video service when you're gone, but there is a charge for the phone number, about $20 per month even if you don't have phone with Century Link since the internet and video come thru the phone line (fiber optic).
Internet speed is constant, not like cable when it slows down at peak hours.
We had only 3MPS at first, but we have upgraded to 10MPS because it came with Prism complete package that offered free HD and DVR for life which was actually cheaper than Prism Essential in the long run.
Also got a $100 gift card for being a new customer.
Hi, The Prism sales guy has been talking to me about switching over to Prism from DirecTV. He quoted a fee around $99/mth for year one and then $109 in the future. That includes high speed internet service, two TVs, HD and a package that includes the NFL network (to watch the Packer games). Is this a similar package to yours? You seem Happy with the service!
